Ka nui ngā mihi ki ngā uri o Te Moana-nui-a-Kiva! Tēnā koutou katoa! Kia orana kotou katoatoa!

Moana Nui is a curated digital experience of live performance from Kia Mau Festival. From the raw final rehearsal room performance as artists prepare for Opening Night, to the full glory of an in-theatre season before live audiences. Cinematic soundscapes and the power of our writers are all unleashed in demand and online.

Moana Nui features the AHI KĀ SERIES that is documented and filmed in Te Whanganui-a-Tara by three filmmaking teams including Natala Gwiazdzinski (Ngāti Raukawa) and Pikihuia Haenga (Ngāti Raukawa, Ngāti Toa, Ngāti Porou); and Kahu Kutia (Ngai Tuhoe) and Elise Lanigan; and Timon Zeiss.

Moana Nui is proud to collaborate with creative storytellers presenting new work from throughout the Indigenous world including Article 11, Atamira Dance Company, Bianca Hyslop & Rowan Pierce, Teremoana Rapley, The Māori Sidesteps, and Tawata Productions.
