Ahi Kā [Tuarua] - James Nokise

Global comedian James Nokise has returned to Aotearoa with a fire in his belly; sharing his insights of the ongoing social and climate inequities faced by Pacific peoples. James sits down with us - before leaving the country ahead of an international tour.

Moana Nui features Ahi Kā Season Two that proudly shares profiles of artists from Aotearoa.

Ahi Kā is a dynamic collaboration with independent tangata whenua, tangata moana and tangata tauiwi filmmakers from Te Ūpoko o te ika a Māui weaving together on screen artists from theatre, music, literature & film.

Moana Nui also features Ahi Kā, sharing profiles of artists from Wellington, Auckland and Christchurch - all of whom are from Aotearoa and Te Moana-nui-a-Kiva. Ahi Kā is a dynamic collaboration with independent Māori filmmakers from Te Ūpoko-o-te-ika-a-Māui - fusing together artists from theatre, dance, music, literature & film.
